I decided to remove it to avoid cluttering the UI and because I felt curbs should be limited to stony materials.
Sorry if you have a ton of them in your base roads.
If you want to still using it, it is remained in the Defs file with commented out, so just remove the commented out line to continue using it.

However it sounds a unique experience for me which means the cause is some other mod in my list - couldn't guess what but I'll mess around and post again if I identify a culprit.
Now that there are mods for diagonal walls and floors, so I'll try making diagonal curbs.

Nice. We are back to curbing
ChatGpt then helped me with the name
Now the black edge of the curb softens.
Alternatively, In the ThingDefs.xml of this mod, edit the number enclosed by <placingDraggableDimensions> on lines 45 and 139 from 1 to 0 may help.
I've turned off the auto expand home area, and half of the road was outside of it, that's why I could not assign pawns cleaning dirt with right click.
I'm trying now a new start because I think I know what was the problem.
It's possible that the road what was curb stoned was not in the home area. :/
I will look for it and if that's the case, then sorry for the false bug report...
And curbs are just decorative furniture. It should not affect the dirt.
