@Ramuné Lucky for you, Map Modes Enhanced does exactly that. And it looks freaking great.

It also looks better with Clear Sky, since the two were intended to work together.

I wonder how the game would look if the actual map stopped turning grey after zooming out.

I've tried searching the game files for how to change the color of the view-box back to white, but I can't find how to do so. If anyone is able to help I'd appreciate it. The black lines don't go well with this texture IMO.

It *should* be, since it doesn't alter the checksum, but the game will alert you that you can't get achievements with mods enabled. I'm hoping the devs will fix that.
