Is it ok if I use this as a base for a modded faction overhaul mod? I wanted to add modded weapons and such to the AI roster, but seeing this I thought it would be better to start with the better vanilla designs from this mod as a baseline. I am mostly doing it for myself so if you don't want me to redistribute a version of this then I won't.

Thank you so much for this. It actually gives me a fighting chance early game on higher difficulties.

Id say this is more of a rebalance than a fix. the added complexity is going to make it harder for them to build it after all.
