Was it ever implied that the hl2 barnacle was an "evolution"?? I always just thought it was a classic valve retcon, like how the vortigaunts and headcrabs look different in hl2.

It's so damn good! But I really don't think it fits Black Mesa's sort of cartoony aesthetic. Great choice for Half-Life 2, though.

awesome addon! i really hate how the boys at the crowbar collective team decided "hey lets just recycle the barnacle from half life 2 instead of making a original model!" i think its really lazy and scientificly, does not make sence for a creature to look the same as it did in the future before the future.

...but that doesnt explain what the dots are then, it just means the dots were there then they werent and then they were there again, regardless of what they are this is how is it

the "eyes" can not be seen (no pun intended) in half life alyx and it makes no sense for a creature to just remove its eyes to then evolve them again 5 years later

if they're not eyes then what are they?

This is fantastic. An enemy reskin that incorporates aspects of all its incarnations for the best of all worlds, as opposed to discarding one look for another!

its nice mod but it has very big tongue i know you are making it feels real but after all there should be sneaky witch you dont see them until they grab you but now you easily spot them with they tongue maybe its more realistic but it is damaging the gameplay (but still its so good if you just want to know where they are and never let them catch you actually its more like some kind of cheating xd)
