If you didn’t enjoy the map, that’s okay. I didn’t make it to please everyone—I built something I personally love to play and wanted to make it stand out. Some people really connect with it; I’ve seen players get inspired and even call it their favorite.
You might enjoy sharkbay more by focusing on what it does rather than what it doesn’t. The ship and death pit are the heart of the map. Try playing around them, you might find it more fun than expected.

"sharkbay" was literally such a disappointment. basic asf map, and despite the name it has NO pyro shark gameplay, and literally NO WATER, OTHER THAN OUT OF BOUNDS. WTF? (its literally named sharkbay)
desperately need more underwater maps, and also just maps with water. Like this sharkbay map literally couldve just had rain on it, as well as 2 inches of water on every surface.
when the point unlocks at the start of the round, it happens totally silently, and it's really easy to miss. unlike every other koth map, there's no countdown timer or announcer lines letting the players know when it unlocks, at least in all the casual games i've played on this map. is this on purpose?
Please consider making ANOTHER map where it's like that. There's like no map dedicated to that kind of pyro gameplay other than 2fort. and even then its rare.

Sadly I havn't played it too much, VSH is taking up most of my TF2 time. And I'm not really a koth guy, but still. If I play koth, this map is really good and will be on my queue list.
I am finally able to talk freely about the map now that the update is out. My team and I are really proud of the final result and we thank you for your feedback!
Now let's answer some questions:
- the S.S Maria was changed in order for the new name Iron IncWell to make more sense, S.S Maria was something more personal to me.
- About the fps drops I honestly have no idea what could cause that, the map is really well optimized and nobody complained about the fps so far. I even made sharkbay when I had a crappy computer back in the day so I tried to make the map run as well as I could so I could play my map. Thus something like that kinda shocks me.
- Lastly about your questions if this map was going to be added it was really difficult not to say a word. However seeing how hyped everyone was, made our team work a lot harder to deliver the best map we could. We put so much love into the map.

However, my biggest complaint is that the map just feels too small. Once one team takes mid, it never feels like the other team is able to set foot in mid without getting blown up or getting headshot from across the map as soon as they come out from the connector building. Also, despite the small size, the Sniper sightlines at mid seem too effective. I never feel like there's anywhere remotely safe.
All in all, very cool concept, I just think there was probably a better layout that could've been done here.
