If Invictus does not affect any of the files used by this mod it should work fine; alternatively, placing this mod below Invictus in load order might work as well.

If you attack without a valid reason the warscore remains as vanilla. However if you have a claim, or use Legacy of Alexander/Conquest by the Spear etc. the effects are much more visible.
Also, if the lands you are demanding are very well developed I think that also affects the warscore (similar to EUIV?).
Try playing with the mod disabled and enabled to see if there's any differences.
Also try moving it about in the modlist and see if that fixes your problem bud!
Also, are you launching a legitimate war (that is, a war with a claim on a province)? Otherwise, aggressive wars without valid Casus Belli are as expensive as before.
PS - Raiding/Naval and Normal Superiority remain the same as before - very costly, in order to prevent rampant conquering without valid casus belli.
