RW is past it's prime unfortunately, but hopefully someday devs will release new update with cool stuff for modders to play with (to this day I wish we could create buffs and debuffs)
Tbh, I've always wanted to make more modular units, the Modular Tank from my other mod (Experimental: Basics) kind of implements this idea, but I never went any further with it.
Unfortunately, I won't be working on anything at RW for now, mainly because I still feel a bit burned out and I've moved on to other things/projects as well, although I'm not saying that I won't come back :)
It was most likely something I missed after one of updates, thanks for pointing that out!
I adjusted both build and repair speed (build 1->6, repair 1->0.8), update should be out
I like the Engineer Bot as a unit and the Modular Carrier as a naval game-ender, so it's great to be able to use it without the AI doing weird stuff.
- Notepad (yes, normal notepad which is pre-installed in Windows XD) - creating units is not very
complicated, you must know game limits ( like max ~31 turrets per unit ) and have idea for unit.
- GIMP - for creating textures
About missile launcher, its impossible or too hard for me. Each missile launcher has the same code, so I can't make diferrent warm up or delay. I know it's a bit annoying, but unfortunately I can't do anything about it :(
I'm finishing my four experimentals :)
(now my friend is testing ship)
