swallowtail, you really should get into 3d modelling, it is a lot of fun! And despite what Tsunkie seems to think, I'm not saying this in ill will. From concept, to modelling, to texturing, to actually turning it into a compatible item for tf2 and using it as a mod, I had a lot of fun in this process and if you have your own ideas for hats I think you should give this a try. Honestly, I don't think I'll have another take at this, murs. I actually modelled this hat just because I personally wanted to wear something like it in game. As you can see in the description above, I made it as a mod for the legendary lid (I have an unusual one) and I'm enjoying it a lot :D

if you'd like some ideas for a better hat to make, maybe watch this thing in which Korean actors showcase and give some exposition on historic Korean hats. Never make an all class again by the way, none of these fit on spy, or medic, or heavy, just stick with what actually fits.

No problem, I appreciate what you were trying to do but I'm of the opinion that the other kabutoes that exist already do it better, since you can utilise things like beards and the Exquisite rack with them already. For the other classes, they don't really have anything innately Japanese, barring the Spy, so perhaps you could model a unique Kabuto for the Spy if you model anything similar in the future? It looks great in combination with the Noh Mercy, I will admit.

The most recent additions have been garbage like this. This crap actually gets in, and it takes up a slot for someone that actually TRIED to submit an amazing, creative, and well-thoghtout piece.

The fact that you don't see the problem here is baffling enough, but your disregard for how the community feels is further cementing your hat's place in hell. Your ideas lack creativity, and drive, but are rich in carelessness, loathing, and sadness.

Hi, thought I'd provide some legitimate feedback. I won't insult the modelling of the hat, since I'm sure it took a while, but historically, the whole point of the kabuto was to provide visibility on the battlefield. Even when they were producing these en masse, they would still create adornments for them with wooden armatures, so to remove these fantastic adornments from the hat- or, taking the defining feature away from the kabuto, makes this a very plain looking hat that doesn't have a unique appeal. Even if this was the point- hence the "commoner's".

The plain design does allow for variety, but the problem is other classes have few cosmetics to suit it. You can already use the rack and every beard with a Killer Kabuto, and only Spy's Noh Mercy has that same Japanese aesthetic that synergizes particularly well. What this hat COULD do well is already being done by the other kabutoes that exist and the classes that don't have one are lacking in flavour cosmetics that complement it.

i don't think you even read any of this considering you looked at criticism and said "do it yourself idoit" and "lol im gonna stick it to you and rub it in if my hat gets in"
maybe take some of the points into consideration and make some better hats instead of continuing to plague the market with these unfitting, frankly ugly all class cash grab hats
