After a while of procrastination, ive finally made the other version!
Just search up Sigmyra MKV Drone, or look at my released mods for barotrauma to find it.

I can wait, no rush :)

This was my first attempt at making a sub, so I personally feel like this is my "worst" sub when compared to my other newer subs!

Yeah it seems the drone still does not work, as well as the front bottom gun, you can't see through the periscope on the front bottom.

im going to look into fixing that bot issue although I may not be able to because the doors are so close together, ill try my best! The reason it says no signal for the drone is most likely from it being in "manual" mode.

There is a button on the nav terminal for the drone that you should be able to click and it should fix your problem, if it doesnt please comment and ill have to try and fix it but if the problem has anything to do with the drone itself I may not be able to fix anything as i lost the files to the drone!

The bots on my campaign have been having trouble going through the door to the Command room. They tend to get stuck running into the door while rapidly pressing the buttons, causing the door to open/close constantly while they still can't get through. I have to manually take control of them whenever they want to come in or leave, which can be very annoying. As much as I like the little airlock there, having to fix the bots several times a mission gets very tiresome.

This is probably just me not knowing how to use it, but whenever I go to the drone command console it says "NO SIGNAL". I can still operate the guns on it though.

The sub is fairly overpowered, however the speed that it runs though coilgun ammo somewhat makes up for it if you have all bot gunners. Though I do feel it is pretty cheap for what it has

Otherwise, this is a fantastic sub and I'm hoping to be playing it with a group of friends soon.

I just changed the Sigmyra to have two railgun periscopes instead of only one!

I love the idea of front end gun though. But the middle section can you make a version with two periscope for railgun?

The bots have no problems traversing the submarine, but unfortunately cannot switch the turrets

Is it bot friendly? Can they switch the turrets?

Also I Found this in the "Fixes" section of the new update
- Fixed shuttles spawning undocked in certain custom subs (e.g. DOMA Prototype Mk 8).

So hopefully this means that this also fixes the problems with the drone getting glitched in the junction room!

Maybe a bit too cheap?

unfortunately I do not know of a reliable way to fix that. I was successful a few times by docking at a station and while docked you undock the drone and then redock it, but like i said it was not reliable and actually glitched the drone even worse a few times!
Im sorry i couldn't give you a fool proof way to fix that.

I really like this sub design wise, like really. but for some reason the shuttle spawns in the junction room wall for me, making it obviously quite unusable. Any way to fix this?

you could try a sliding piece of basically a piece of shell with a motor, a docking port and some batteries attached to it that slides between two layers of shells and docks in the first position where it is completely between the other two shells (which are part of the main sub) so the drone is free to leave and another docking port in a second positon where the shell is above the drone and protects it.
The thing that would cover the drone would also be a drone and would also only need an enigen, a docking port and batteries (and wifi channels of course) because it would not need to go up or down.
