why cant you even immediately just put the half life 1 crowbar sound, like when you hit a metal in hl1

Don't restart your game for sounds goofy just type "snd_restart" in the console.

It doesn't change anything besides for the fact that when it hits nothing it makes a horrible screeching sound (probably an error).

Does this replace the HL1 Crowbar sounds to not overlap with the HL2 Crowbar sounds?

rorobots he means if you have half life source AND team fortress 2 it will mess with the sounds and make tf2 ones this is a fix and makes HLS Sounds
