Now that I'm ready to move on from the starter planetary system, and leave my bases behind, I'm going to dive into the Helios and its modules. And with that, it's time to leave a comment, just to say thanks. Great work!
There is only one hassle with these modular builds: Storage is universal but ship menus for power, shields, devices etc are direct access only. So if I am on the mothership bridge I have access to nothing except storage and mothership devices. If I am in a module I have no access to the mothership menu. Modular bays almost need a "module command area" that has an aux pilot chair plus direct LOS access to the modules. I am improvising this in the Helios at the moment. It's all one landing bay underneath so it is easy. I put a sliding door on the wall in the landing bay for direct access to the first two modules from there and a pilot chair in the module hallway. All is well. Loving this ship!
I've been using the Helios for a month now and just wanted to say it's a stunning piece of work. Thank you. I've added a Teleporter and some dedicated advanced constructors in one of the bays. Playing in RE I can leave it by a sun running on solar power churning out ammunition and refining ores. Then when ready I dock the rest of my ships and move on. Thanks again.

i found problems with docking and undocking the C7. i got internal error break and code in last version of empyrion in creativ mode and on a server. on server i found same now after the last update.
no issues with other ships as the C2 and tyche industries SV and HV or self buildet ships.
will there be vanilla compatible modules ?

I have also created a slightly altered Vanilla Helios that has smaller bay modules removed for 6 large module bays plus a larger (by 14 blocks) rear module bay for an even larger rear module bay. Removed 4 rear XL thruster slots because in Vanilla there would really be no use for them.
