I was looking for this intro map for a very long time, everything is cool, but try to animate the piston with valve so that you can lower the lever and the piston is activated.

I know it would be cool

Hey everybody, i am working on an update, that is gonna fix everything, also, you wont need half life 1! probably, itook the wad from the map.

you do realize how many people dont have half life 1, you expect this to be popular or work? you need to use other models from other addons that dont require the source or the game being mounted

what I did to make it work was put it in the gmod maps folder, put the materials in gmod/materials/texturesmrvalve, and then edited the map in hammer so that all the textures went to texturesmrvalve/(texturename) rather than just (texturename). If there's any scripted portions of the map or if mr.valve was actually supposed to appear I wasn't able to get that to work. I tried putting the textures directly in materials so I wouldn't have to rename things but that didn't work for whatever reason. I think gmod wants the textures to be in a subfolder which they weren't set up to be in.

@GamerBoi you need half life 1, but at the minute the textures dont work for any of us

Do I need half life 1 for this to work because my css textures didn't work on it. It was just errors.

@camo_tnt should i use sfm hammer, its kinda hard to make it work in normal hammer

I unpacked the mod and it looks like the issue is that the material references are messed up. Giving the map its own material folder and then changing it all in hammer seems to fix the issue. I wasn't able to restore full functionality tho b/c I'm not super experienced with hammer lol

@camo_tnt i dont know whats wrong, i removed my copy and downloaded this, i have the same error, everything seems to be in its place. maybe its the goldsrc messing about.

@camo_tnt i think i just renamed the folder name to materials for uploading, so the vmts doesnt know what to do. ill fix it, if thats the case.

Map appears to be untextured, any way to fix this?
