You can't change the type of unit that is called in; however, the stats of the reinforcement Trooper will scale with the Officer's rank.
If you want to toy around with having more reinforcements, you can also edit the configs to give the Call Reinforcements ability multiple charges.

I have a question, does the ability to call reinforcements from smoke also scale with the game? Like, can we receive different advent units? Or do they increase in quantity?

I am loving this mod, but do the troops ever get armour upgrades? I stop using mine on missions once my squad is past the kevlar stage because they suddenly become too easy to kill

Love this mod, I am playing my own modjam with 300+ mods and even then the exvent troops are still very fun, distinct and totally compatible.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! I will try this out when I finish my current run of XCOM. I was looking for a mod that lets you play as the aliens, I think this is the best one we will get now. You are based!!!

Not to sound like a bug or anything but do you plan on updating this mod by any chance? i know its been three years since your last update for this mod and i know there is the chance you lost any and all motivation for continuing this mod, but i am hopeful to see where this goes. I actually downloaded it yesterday and i admit im having fun with this mod, like the idea of having xcom version of advent soldiers that are not simply skirmishers and for them to have their own unique skill trees! anyways hope things are well and hope to see this mod be updated one day!

how does this play with nonlethal combat (which already adds a way to knock enemies unconscious)

I can't seem to be able to buy the upgrade in the GTS, how do i fix that?

@Void -Go to the EXVENT Discord. There are instructions to make this mod compatible with LWOTC there, But if you have ANY other mods installed that alter soldier equipment in some way, this fix may not work.

LWOTC isn't in my mod collection, but you're probably right about it being a mod conflict. Strange because I swear I saw them upgraded in a previous playthrough and cannot seem to spawn them in with console commands

The upgrades should appear at the same time you unlock the magnetic and beam variants of the Ranger's sword. If they don't, it's probably a mod conflict. Are you running LWotC?

Really like the mod, but I don't seem to be able to upgrade my stun batons for magnetic and beam tiers. What are the requirements before they appear in the engineering menus?

It most likely doesn't work if you enable it mid-mission. You'll probably have to reload a save from before you loaded into the mission.

@jayen Maybe adding the mod fix mid-mission does not work?

@jayen I tried that and it did not work. I still could not go to the second stage. I was quite surprised when the mod fix did not take care of the problem.

You'll need to subscribe to Custom Soldiers Evac Zone Fix by RealityMachina; it's linked in the Companion Mods section above. Custom soldier classes aren't able to progress to the second part of Stronghold missions due to a base game bug and that mod fixes it.

@jayen I use a lot of mods but in my most recent campaign the officer class from this mod was unable to continue to the second part of a Chosen stronghold mission.

Are there any customisation mods that work with this one?

I researched predator armor but i cant seem to craft any upgrades for exvent units. Is there a conflict with this and covert infiltration or am i missing something?

Btw, when will the shield bearer class be available? It's the only one my squad is seriously missing.
