(cont) I'm not entirely sold on your reasoning for it either. If you view the game's cargo units as volume then what you posted makes sense, but since a unit of any cargo has the same mass it makes more sense to view a unit of cargo as a mass measurement rather than volume. Thus the problem with the way the base game does cargo is visual, easily fixed by changing the way a full load of bulk cargo X shows up in the wagon compared to bulk cargo Y. In other words, I think you would be better off having the hopper carry the same amount of Ore as Coal, but just show the full load of ore as only partially filling the hopper. (2/2)

The problem with the way you configured these is that the game sets the costs of the wagons based on their maximum capacity, which means that a full load of ore is essentially a 1/3 full train. This means that it is basically impossible to have a profitable line using these to carry ore, even on easy. Now I like the fact that a full ore load only fills the wagon up a little. That's the sort of visual realism that I enjoy. But I also like to preserve as much of the game aspect as possible and unfortunately that means that this asset is flawed in that respect. (1/2)
