units shoot through the ground. the gravel pit bottom left at the fuel depot was horrid. there were other spots we units were firing through the ground.

I'll be honest. Normally I hate maps set in industrial areas, because map makers just place the same industrial assets over and over. It can be boring. However, as usual MB, you've been really creative in your design. Another unique map, and fun to play with AI..

UPDATE! Murmansk has how had a few minor visual changes, some considerable changes to shot blocking, and a few extra details.

Nah, some places were far out of reach, but taking Murmansk would surely have caused some serious damage! Without Murmansk, the Soviet Union would have had no contact with the UK or US, no protection from the Northern Seas, and a massive flanking push from the North. History could have been interestingly different.

Anyways, thanks for all the map suggestions, guys! If I can keep creating a map per month, I'll use plenty of them!

Fellow Englishman, don't get me wrong, the map is fictional in that sense. Most of the maps I create are "what if" situations, and had things been slightly different, Murmansk could have been taken. Before the weather set in, the Wehrmacht had units entrenched nearby, but the surprise of Barbarossa was dwindling by the time they were prepared, and the Soviets in Murmansk outnumbered them too much to risk an assault.

just saying... the germans never invaded murmansk or anything. Hitler wanted to, but after some recon and stuff, they found out it would be almost impossible due to the temperature and how well it was defended, so they decided to cut the railway passing in and over leningrad

я живу здесь. Кстати карта отличная. А почему не зимняя? а будет ли там Долина Славы для нас и Долина Смерти для немцев?

и еще немцыв мурманск так и не вошли. А там пригороды. Каменных домов не было на окраинах. только в центре. все остольные немцы сожгли с помощью зажигательных гранат

This is one of my favourite maps I've ever made folks, and I hope you enjoy it!

This can support 6 players, but it's designed for 4 and is perfect for those of you who prefer stealthy games.
