What is broken?

Just so people know this ship no longer works (It works well if you fix the logic)

Such a solid little machine i did so many jobs and learned to build with this boat.

just got the game. Havent fully figured out building yet. I Really like this ship,

first real working "starter" boat i've found. all the others either needed updated parts or needed research done.

This is a great starter boat! Its been a workhorse for me while I do jobs to upgrade my kit. Thanks for sharing it!

It was under 15k when I built it. You need to remove some non-critical components (inventories are expensive) to reduce the cost.

costs 17k and the steering and stabilisers dont work so you have to manually fix them, not a big job though

Favorite boat to use so far for Classic Career. Easily capable to setup for Stormlink as well.

but you did make a good ship for a start had to make changes but was good too much money to get into classic career mode had to delete glass and stuff

nope when i subbed it said A and D was to stear the search light i could not move left or right at all i have made some changes now the boat is more more stable when waves the speed is stable so your boat don't flip when at max speed and you can move left and right i even had a heart attack massive massive wave and the boat manged to get over it and not go under i will upload it later (don't worry i will tag)

A and D for steering the boat
Left and Right for rotating the search light

It looks like last update messed up microcontroller weights, so boat's center of gravity is shifted to the right.

hey dont know if this was supposed to happen but this boat seems to list to the right side and i cant seem to figure out why it does this, this is with a fresh load after the update

Seriously great boat. I've played for hours with it.

loot boxes are very common on the hospital island. i found three giving me $11,785 on top of the 15k that you start with

good tip if you want to use this boat starting out in career mode (since its 17k now due to stormworks update). just swim to the hospital island (should be pretty close) and get the loot boxes, then you should be able to afford it. it took me like 2 minutes

In a short period of play starting a new campaign this starter boat: delivered a Sawyer Package Package; delivered 10 people in Stormlink; put out a fire on a boat then delivered seven (7) rescues to hospital. Now with those funds I'm jumping up into one of my own designs. Thule did all that. It did all one could ask of a starter boat. That's what a starter boat should do, get you started and on your way.

I made a local save of Thule to edit the seat names to Seat1, Seat2, ... Seat 15. It worked fine. Recommend updating with that naming for compatibility. Your boat does really well with that.
Also does well with the Super Package Package by CommanderMartin as your parcel bays fit many of this packages:

oh Thales... as the one who posted this to the workshop you should be able to delete the post of the guy whining about Devs making changes or about how in his mistaken opinion Starter Boats couldn't be a thing anyway... like by budget or dock size. you can delete those post after that.

That Thule would be great starter boat for. Yes Starter Boats are still a thing, its about performance within a budget and dock size.
If you rename Thule's seats to the Stormlink protocol it will go a bit easier. I believe it is still possible to use it with the mod as is.

Recentlly had to restart campaign as the only way to add in a friends enviroment update. Lovely Thule was my boat after trading in the RHIB. Had a loot box on beach already but Thule is affordable even without that. Its quite a serviceable boat. Well done sir.
The glass covers on the engine and how the game protrays water splashing over made me concerned for a moment. Yet this is still working and allows easy access to engines or getting detailed data off them.

Replaced old gearboxes with new 1x1 gearboxes.

However now that developer has pushed out the game version 1.0 downgrade. Career is total crap and has a broken mission system. The "classic career" was added the following week after a ton of complaints but the mission system remains totally broken. Even if we script in the original game settings the developer screwed up. There is still no mission progression following a career path. So any concept of a start boat is pointless now. What is the point if the mission system does not even use technology progression. It will still generate helicopter missions for the boat.

After researching doors, cabin should be enclosed. Also you can add more weight blocks to the keel.

Looks very efficient. To use new environment mods I had to restart my career and might use this until I get funding to my own designs. Nice passenger ferry too.
