Haven't bought overlord yet, hopefully everything still works fine. The nice thing about portraits is so little changes with their code.

I don't know if this was from another mod or vanilla, but I recently saw in the empire builder you can choose which gender(s) can be leaders so you still could, there's just nothing built into this mod to back that.

Technically the mod doesn't do anything to assign gender to any portrait so by default there's a 50/50 chance a given character with these images is male. I did not go out of my way to include 'traps' since I aimed for an above waist image to match their scale and keep the size decent. There is no nudity so you'd be using your imagination anyway.

I found an issue that im not sure how to fix or what the cause is. Using the "Human" anime race, all the Envoys are the default portrait instead of a random one from the list, and all rulers except the 1st are also the default. No matter how many times i kill my ruler it goes to default, and when i nominated a new heir their portrait changed to the default as well.

I want to use this mod in multiplayer with my friends but need to modify it since we don't want to have AI use the portraits. We had problems before when installing the mod manually (not from Steam)
Is it ok if I upload an edited version of your mod on Steam and set it to private/unlisted/something only for me and my friends to use?

Weird, I had them working earlier, anyway should be fixed now.

Looking at the files myself, I think it might be because it's case-sensitive. You have 'catmil' in lower-case in the Portraits file, bu in the Models file, they're capitalized.

Soooo, nope. as you certainly aint using otaku as name AND use it as insult more than nothing else ill skip this one here. Nothing personel but i wont take anyones anime girl mod , especiel none that does not know the normal word, wich is otaku.

Should be updated for ♥♥♥♥, just changed the version number and added the localization that was missing. Hopefully it uploaded ok, it's a bit obscure on my end to figure out what I've done. Shouldn't be anything else unless I changed something shortly after uploading and since forgot.

The 3.0 ♥♥♥♥ Update added new localisation in the namelist file, specifying for hands/ears/teeth. This is used in the vivisection first contact event, and the game can't seem to find the victim's body parts.

I have not tested or changed anything yet for the ♥♥♥♥ update. It will say the mods out of date, as the txt file just tells it what version it is supposed to run. I do not foresee any issues with the mod yet.

Yea i see and understand. Thank you for looking into it anyway! I have my AI set to 30 here with 7 custom empire total and other disabled. So far i had luck with only one or so non-custom empire using the portrait spawning ever which especially happen if portrait was not already used for a custom empire. :)

Oh well... its still great fun and fits mostly my lore as i made an angelic fallen empire with other mods + origin they created the other 7 races all with the engineered civic.

Yeah I looked into that, I really just wanted to make custom empires for each option on only have them show up as that. As far as I could find I couldn't have a setting that does that. Best you can do is set a number of empires to force spawn and set the number of empires in that game to equal that. but That kind ruins the surprise of who is playing.

Yea. My only complain tho is how there is only either AI can use it or only empire when you play it yourself. I wish there was an option to disable random spawn yet retain the portrait on custom empires as they spawn as AI with the Empire spawning forced option. (Even if enabled it wont with the randomised line disabled in the code)

@Gbrille, really the tweakable aspect should be available in any species mod, I just tried to tell you how to do it.

I was looking for a race mod that had as many "Races" with the "Anime" art aesthetic as possible. And this is the best I have found. if anyone finds one with more races, and good quality art. Please let me know. Cheers folks!
