Hey Jon nice mod, Im trying to extract the dna files from your mod to play in the normal campaign as a custom ruler that looks like ragnarr, any ways you can help me? I cant see the dna anywhere

1.3 deleted everyone's hairstyles/beards for most mods, including this one. I will try my best to update this mod's DNA files as soon as I can but I have 129+ DNA files to go through manually across all of the different projects I'm involved in. So it might take a while.

@jaydstewart02 I'm glad you've enjoyed the mod. :) I will add Gyda to ToRL. I will try to keep this version more grounded in Vanilla CK3.

Ragnar also has a daughter Gyda played by Ruby O'Leary in the TV Show with Lagertha and a full sister to Bjorn. Also great Mod have really enjoyed it

@SkyRipper The other mod is an ongoing project to create a more authentic Vikings experience in CK3. It adds a bunch of custom characters, changes around birthdates, traits, etc. This mod only changes portraits and not much else.

ok thanks, also another thing, what exactly is the difference from this mod to the other one you have? is just the bookmark? meaning this one can be played normally but the other mod can only be played in it's bookmark? did i understand that right?

@SkyRipper To play as Rollo in this mod, you need to type give_title d_normandy ROLLO'S ID into the console. Make sure you use the other ID instead of the historical one.

"does not make him Ragnar's brother nor does it make him playable. This is simply for those who want to use console commands to play as him." i don't understand, if he is not Ragnar brother, not playable so no lands? how can we play as him with the console?

Its not anything that you did to make ragnar to powerful i should've specified that, i just enjoy building up from a count to duke ect! Characters look amazing by the way

@Tread My bad, 242 is Rollo's Historical ID. Use the other ID instead and it should work. After that, just press ESC and Switch Character to him.

I'm curious, what makes the Ragnar start too powerful and how can I change that? I made it mostly for fans of the TV show that want to "roleplay" as Ragnar, but it's obviously no fun if it's too easy.

How do you use console commands to play as rollo in this? i know you have him in your other mod but id love to console command some of your other characters as i feel the ragnarr start is to powerful, thanks!

This is wonderful! if you like Vikings, I really recommend "The Last Kingdom". It's like vikings but from a Saxon-ish perspective and with a more accurate timeline.

@viranto That would be really cool. :D When it comes to TV shows set in the Middle Ages, I've pretty much only watched Vikings so I don't think I can help much with making any others. :(

This is nice to see. I hope such things would be compatible with other portrait mods in the future. It would be such an amazing thing, to have the main startdates with all characters from every actor from every middleage tv show :D

I'm almost finished with making a custom start date for playing as Ragnar, but I think I'll release it as a separate mod.

Great mod! I just finished watching the vikings, these characters are exactly same as the tv series. If you can made this character for rollo and kievan rus, it would be fantastic!
