@[HLL ITA] Havoc: You can change the font in the gui file. Though imo it's not more readable in black.

works perfectly for me. these event window-mods of yours are really great! would you consider making a persian and/or indian-flavoured version? there are graphics-files in the CK2-folder that might provide some inspiration ("indian-interface"-folder and "zoroastrian-folder") =)

@Ⓐ︎Ⓡ︎Ⓑ︎Ⓔ: Hm, not sure. I also use The Great Exhibition and don't have many problems with it. Maybe try to reinstall that mod or ask the author of it whether there could be missing images, from new DLCs for example.

The images fill 9/10 half of the dedicated box and often come from vanilla instead of The Great Exhibition :/ Any ideas?
