That's what I did, dissecting Matt's ships is a great way to learn how to build proper stuff!

Lots of mimics and decorations, I have a tutorial posted on the basics, but you could probably figure out the mimics by looking at some of my ships and looking at how the decorations are scaled and positioned

How do you make your hulls so good looking?

I'm using a sphere and tube mimic for the radar domes, the base is usually a turret base of some sort

What mimic are you using to make radar domes? That smooth, white thingy? I need this in my life.

Only the top part, it's a lot less walkable then most of my ships (mostly because it has a lot less space above deck) but still has somewhat of an interior although I think I accidentally uploaded a slightly older version without a detailed bridge

Making CC really is a hard task. Grats for even finding the will to undertake the task and do this much progress.

Even though i am personally not a huge fan of realistic builds (which is hypocritical because my ships are still at least somewhat realistic) your ships are very impressive.

That's true, it used to have way more battery power but I cut down for balance. I didn't want something too strong at that price point without any built in weaknesses

Love how it turned out. Bit of a built in weakness now i guess but the rail guns won't fire until they're fully charged meaning that if it looses engine power they'll stop firing.
