I checked in survival on the server and in the private world, it looks like this is an single case of Klang. Unfortunately, this happens with subgrids

Trying to activate the landing gear hinges of this while in survival (spawned the ship) and it just clangs to a backflip and boom not sure if its something they changed since it was BP'd?

Hi! As Plutonium mention, the subgrids of this ship have a decorative purpose, since operating in space ship can use connectors for docking with stations, rather than landing gear. Their absence does not significantly affect the use of the ship, however, its main functions remain, including operation in survival mode (availability of space for fuel/electricity supplies, conveyor system, power sources, etc.). If you need to keep the original appearance, then repeat the chassis is not a serious problem, because I tried to make them as simple as possible.
Before publishing the ship, I tested it on dedicated server with survival mode for some time and neither I nor other players noticed any problems with these subgrids.

Survival friendly? Maybe not, like any aesthetic build. Definitely survival-ready as you can skip the landing gear mechanism and plug the landing gears directly onto the main grid.
I find survival-readiness more about being able to function as intended in survival mode (like having enough resources and a proper infrastructure)

How is it survival ready when it has subgrids? I mean I love the design but subgrids are not survival ready or survival friendly
