I tried to do what the description says but I ended up confused. I don't know if it's too much trouble if you help me step by step. I want to make it clear that I don't care if I lose my characters

Make sure you have the listed dependency and have done the manual install detailed in the description, if you have done that and it's still not working, it may simply be because these are old characters.

Thanks for your answer. I thought the mod would automatically overwrite saved_outfits.txt. I had to find the location of the mod and overwrite it manually, but it worked and it works great!

Apologies to anyone subscribed who suddenly had RE characters pack in their modlist without even subbing to it. Made a stupid rookie mistake and copied over the folder so it was easy to produce another mod without faffing around with the files - trouble is I forgot to remove the unique ID it shared with the dawn of the dead pack because I copied it, meaning it just replaced DOTD every time I updated it. They should now be completely separate mods and this issue should be fixed... hopefully.

You can. Make a separate file and delete all the text relating to the irrelevant characters.
