Well... it wouldn't work without SOS2. I just 'updated' it to 1.3 on the hopes that being a straightforward content mod, it would work like most content mods going into 1.3. Just changed the version number so it doesn't throw up an error.
Like everyone else, I'll find out if it's busted or not once I get SOS2 1.3.
The yellow weapon is from SOS2 and is the projectile cannon weapon type. It comes in small, medium and large (not spinal) turrets and costs uranium to fire, but generates minimal heat.
Not from any movie, I just needed to justify why small groups of non-hostile warships would be roaming on the Rim in space and why killing them wouldn't cause any real issues. Deserters make sense for being in loose groups away from populated space and nobody misses them when they die.
More enemies are always good.
