I guess since the scoop is fitted to the engine this gap was accounted for opening/closing the hood and for the engine movement.

I thought there should be no gaps between scoop and hood like between other bodyparts of cars. May be I just have wrong conseptions of scoops. Never seen one of such scoops by myself in real life))

there was hood #2 with the hole. I thought it was for the MC scoop. but hole is clearly too big for existing scoop. i understand that you didnt change it, but what is the idea with hole bigger then scoop?)

Hood 2 is for the MC scoop, it wasn't changed. I will add another hood with cutout later.
