I'm not quite shure about that, can you tell me how I can reproduce that problem? All I can tell now is that ingame ammo craft system works only with two components at time and probably at specific order.

For quite a long time using this mod noticed the following problem. To convert from the components of the cartridges for the gun does not always work. Sometimes you have to either throw everything out of the inventory or go to another room. Is there any way to fix this.

Since mod adds new component as fully functional item based on existing item (componen A), i guess you can try and add them with Edith (and this mod subscribed) whereever you like. Just open level in Edith and hit rignt mouse button -> Spawn Item -> Component D. Maybe this should do the trick.
