I've just tried this on 1.4 with just this mod running and LWN's Deep Storage. No errors, items can be stored in dressers - seems to work fine!

I'm looking for mod, that adds personal wardrobes. To giwe pawns ability to choose what apparel to wear based on weather conditions. Can you add something like "Link to bed" option like in DBH?

I want to add this but not destroy my masterwork royal dresser... Is there some way this mod can auto-convert upon load, instead of dissapearing furniture?

Of all the mods in the great world of Rimworld mods, this is one of my favorites, because building dressers that are incapable of performing their most basic function bothers me on a fundamental level! Thanks for this. Was wondering if there was any chance of getting the dressers from Medieval Overhaul added? Thanks either way for the great mod!

@babinski If I recall, the old ones don't spawn at load but your linked furniture (beds) still thinks they should be there and tries to find them so you get a lot of red errors.

The only way to get it to work on just dressers is to make a local copy and delete the portions that add it to dressers. You can probably do that with just notepad++ and a little bit of determination. You could also create a mod that undoes the changes to the end tables, but that would require knowledge of XML.

Anyway I can set this to only work on dressers and not end tables? Also, what happens if I dont delete dressers before enabling?

Could you add functionality with the More Furniture mod?

@AngleWyrm I was all set to explain to you that this mod is like putting a shelf in a room without losing the space, so it needs to be balanced with a beauty loss to accommodate and that you can change it yourself in the xml because this is an xml-only mod so I'm not adding settings.

Then I actually looked at shelves and noticed they provide .5 beauty, so yeah, I'll probably ditch the beauty balance changes.

@Sopel - Tate's Tiny Furniture is now integrated. I was already working on an OwnYourFurniture mod before This is Mine was released. Someday I'll probably finish it.

Could you make the Ugly debuff optional? Because I really don't see the need for "balancing" a dresser that never worked.

Or maybe just charge research points. It's what most mods do.

Is it possible to assign cloths to a character, so only "Drubs" cloths get put in "Drubs" dresser ?

It's only now that I see the "warning" to not add it when you got similar mods installed.
Might add on a later save, but right now this mod just makes it so that I cannot deconstruct dressers Etc.
Heck, cannot even use dev console's "Destroy", it's literally unbreakable O_o

Okay, you should now be able to use this with just VFE Core and not spacer, or both.

I fixed it. Seems I was getting this issue because I didn't have the spacer module installed. Now that I've re-enabled, it's working as it should

I just tested again and it is working fine for me both with and without deep storage. I just uploaded my copy again because the illuminated dresser stack size was too small. Maybe it was a bad upload and that will fix it. If not, let me know.

Just tried making a new wardrobe, and they definitely seem to be broken

Sorry the wardrobes. They previously had an inventory but they no longer have them. I have the option to select what items I want in them, though.

I'm going to try building some new ones quick, forgot to try doing that before I decided to complain here

Hey, now that I think about it, this will introduce a balance conundrum with a few pieces from Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Royal Dresser / Royal End Table won't be storage/DeepStorage. Also the literal wardrobe from that same mod won't be store-able. Hmm.

Any chance you could add compatibility for those? That's an ultra-popular mod tbh!

@Kashi Le' Tauce Lol, go ahead then, I dare you. To be honest, if you delete every dresser or end table before you add this mod, it would be okay, but if you add this mod then click on a dresser that was previously built and Deep Storage is active, it will definitely error and might crash.
