Is there a way to make this mod compatible with "Proper 2K UI Enhanced" and its submod "P2KE Patch - Extended Timeline"? I've tried running all three together, but many of the in-game UIs are misaligned.

This mod seems incredibly promising. Unfortunately, its biggest flaw is the Sphere, which truly ruins the fun. The problem is that this Sphere option causes the AI ​​to bloat. Historically, Portugal could easily serve as an example of how a small country can become a colonial and trading empire. The Sphere destroys this very thing. Portugal is often a vassal of France or Castile. Is there a way to disable the Sphere option in this mod? I'm asking because I really want to use this mod, but I can't because the Sphere option is very unpleasant to me.

Great mod, a shame that after aproximately 1910 it becomes unplayable, since the AI just chill and do nothing. It doesn´t happen if I only use ET, but that´s boring

For some reason when running this mod with Extended timeline and some unit model mods my country(in 1300) gets all military technology wich results in being 520 years ahead of time.

Crises is something I tried implementing a long time ago, but never finished. I may try to add this in the future, though it is not on the immediate agenda.

Having more Great Powers join Great Wars is something I'll try to improve upon.

Hello, thank you for this mod, all the new mechanics are perfect for the victorian era.

I was wondering if you are planning to expand a bit on some other vic2 systems, like crisis and great wars. I know there is a Great War CB, but from what I saw, other non-directly allied great powers or other nations will not join the war over time. Would this be something that can even be done with the eu4 engine, and if yes, are you planning to work on it?

Also, I think it would be great to have some crisis events where all great powers can choose to support one side or the other. Are you considering something like this?

Spheres cannot declare independence wars directly, which I think also might disable the "support independence" mechanic.

There's no easy way to leave a Sphere (other than being at war with your Sphere leader or being Sphered by someone else), so I should probably add more interaction for this.

i found a bizarre incompatible issue with colored vassals mod, it prevents me from creating spheres and it also prevents countries like austria from becoming the austrian empire. not that is a big deal but something that i thought was interesting

Hello, can you also make a mod for International Crisis from Victoria 2 for more international conflicts? This is great for having multiple world wars from victoria 2.

(I mean end date is 9999 in this mod and after WW3, there sould be more world wars like WW 4,5,6........ WW 49 :lunar2019grinningpig: like Victoria 2)

Also HOI 3 / HOI 4 like factions system like first 3 great powers or maybe faction leader not have to be first 3 great power because in WW2, even though USA is more advanced country, the UK was the leader of the ALLIES. And maybe minor nations can leaning towards to factions. Maybe this sphere influence system turned to faction leaning system after WW1.

ALLIES, COMMUTERN, AXIS or maybe even

NATO, SHANGAI PACT, WARSAW PACT?

Moreover, creating your own faction, creating your own NATO like HOI 4.

I considered giving all the Latin american countries a small mission tree each when I made the Gran Colombian tree some weeks ago, but I never did it for some reason. With time, I'll get around to giving each region some missions.

As for forming a united Hispano-/Iberoamerica, I could create something like that for the next patch.

EOTeal, hi, could you add a short tree of quests for Mexico and some main iberoamerican countries. Also a iberian philipine culture (as an hispanic I consider the actual "Filipinos" hispanic except for the language) and an ecuatorial guinean iberian culture for Fernando Po. And if it could be possible add the option to create "Hispanoamérica" if one iberian culture country in America with capital in México, Caribbean, Colombia, Peru and La Plata colonial regions have the main cities of that regions; the same case with Iberoamerica but with addition of Brasil colonial region

Again, there's a lot of stuff that would have to be re-written, localization in 'customizable_localization/etf_diplomatic_influence_loc.txt' and effects in 'common/scripted_effects/etf_scripted_effects_for_subjects.txt' primarly.

I did test to see if adding more Great Power slots worked, and I have now increased the upper limit from 8 to 16 without issues. I'll add this change in the next patch.

Well I increased it now to 16 GPs, but the tooltip or localisation still show me 8 GPs...

The Sphere of Influence mechanic is unfortunately hard-coded for 8 GP's, as this was the easiest way for me to implement it. Increasing the number of countries with access to it would require rewriting a lot in script, modifiers, localization, etc. Also, in my limited testing, certain necessary triggers seem to break when exceeding 10 GP's, so this might be the hard limit on how high you can go.

I think one way to make development more realistic is 1. increase development cost from terrain, and 2. add like build cost and build time debuffs to difficult terrain, so it's harder to develop.

This is mostly because of how EU4 works, but development tends to even out to the point every province has the same dev, as terrain doesn't scale with development, meaning when you get a bunch of modifiers terrain doesn't even matter, instead of certain areas being harder to develop because of being forests. Leading to the circumstance where if you try to reduce dev costs so you can have mega cities with dev equal to the IRL cities at the actual start date for modern times, every other province will also be a megacity, instead of having New York at say 200 dev and Arkansas at 3.

Not sure how one would fix this, but it's a pretty big problem in terms of immersion.

Great mod, I would suggest though if not already there a modifier specifically for centers of trade or big cities that reduce development by quite a bit, so you can get the megacities when you get to modern times.

Civil Wars are scripted events that allow players to play as either side in a home conflict (a war between two separate tags, as opposed to just fighting rebels).

These wars are scripted for certain specific events added in the mod, such as the Spanish civil war (1936) or similar later conflicts. Since early startdates isn't within the scope of this mod, no such flavor has been added to Rome, unfortunately.
