You’re saying, that while using Alexe’s Pyro Peepers model, to use $iris under Eyeball_real. AND, even when I use it on the Eye_R or _L, still does the same thing. Just saying, directory might be fucked

"eye_real"? what model did you use, usually the models have Left and Right parts.

This also happens with other mercs eyes

Alright, so before the creators go "Oh, you didn't read the tutorial." I swear to you. I opened up eye_real, y'know add attribute, string $iris, and copy and pasted the directory. But nope, it's not working, It's just black and purple checkers and the iris of the 9th skin showing.

there's models of engi without goggles, showing his eyes, those work.

no other model that has peepes like Alaxe's Peepers for his googles i know of tho, sorry.

ok, for anyone confused about step nine; you input the skin you want on the eye right under the color picker on the peepers. it's not marked out at all it's really obscure, but it's right under the color picker

Literally speaking, he could have been more specific about it and say the last few pics at the end. for him its obviously at the very end, cuz he already know what he included here.

For The Enhanced Pyromancer's mask and the peepers are 2 different models, so that should be fine by itself.
For The Enhanced Combustible Cutie and the Flamedeer: there are actually 2 types of models in the addon you download from Alaxe, one with and without eyes already put in the model, use the one with the eyes, the names from the tutorail should be the same.

Hey just a quick question here, I noticed in the screenshots you have the enhanced deer, ballonicorn, and pyromancer's mask, all with the eyelid positions changed. But when I try to do the same, the pyro's peepers clips through the eyelids and doesn't change with the eyelids. Is there something I'm doing wrong? (I followed the guide in the pictures, got the eyes working, but can't change the eyelids otherwise the peepers clips through the eyelids.)

step 9 shows you example finding the iris you want according to the directory. in the description, you have ''Includes'' category, showing you the directories of the giving vtf files for the iris.

@Klockwise you misunderstood part 9 of the guide. Karma mentioned that " rep\eyepack\(inserteyehere)" is NOT the actual directory/path to find the textures. you can see in the description the directory for each .vtf file of the texture.

This looks so cool, but every time I put in the rep\eyepack\(inserteyehere) the eyes just turn into missing textures. I have followed the directions four times, making sure I don't screw anything up and yet they still don't work.
