A couple things I've noticed:
1. No audio cue for when you're redlining makes it hard to time your shifts correctly.
2. 3rd and 4th gear are extremely close together and it's obvious the buggy still has a good bit of potential top speed that it could utilize if 4th was changed to a higher gear ratio.

Has anyone got the expansion trader files for the buggys?

Does anyone else have the problem that even with noCardamage the spark plug is ruined after a few kilometers?

Hard to turn meaning you don't like the turning radius?

There is only a manual gear. When you say expensive are you talking about in game currency at the trader? Each server controls the in game currency cost of items on their server.

@sticky_icky @Shoden its because when u are in "admin mode" the keybind for teleporting is "H".
if u leave the VPP Admin Mode. u are not able toteleport.

Anyone notice mods effecting the launcher now? there has been a few vehicle mods i have tried to add- though once added steam launcher shows no mod list

If items are despawning, check the types and make sure the ttl is as high as everything else, or check to see that the entry is in fact in the types.

DaPugDaddy I feel like there is a bug with those lights but i'm also no server configuration expert in relation to things despawning. I have see the despawn of those lights though so I know what you are saying. If someone has any ideas I'm happy to make an update.

Is there a bug with the construction lights that are loaded in with the Baja? When someone places the light in their base it despawns after restart. It doesn't seem to be covered under the territory flag.

Fuel tank is behind the seats. You can fill from the drivers side behind the seat.

@sticky_icky That's common for all vehicles I've tested with VPP Admin Tools, not specific to this mod. It's great for getting a vehicle unstuck when testing with admin tools turned on, but a bit concerning the first time it happens and you don't know what's going on.

This mod is awesome. However it seems to conflict with VPP Admin Tools. If I toggle the admin tools on, when I press H for the horn the buggy moves forward, then jumps in the air and goes under the map. If I toggle the admin tools off it works fine. Same thing happens with the scorpion bike mod. Not sure if there is a fix for this other than not using admin tools when driving?

Someone else must be using the same HeadlightH7 but not using +=

I have double checked the lights functionality with no other mods installed and the functionality is working correctly. What I can tell you is there is some other mod that is overriding the lights but they are likely not using the inventorySlot[]+= plus minus symbol versus just an equals symbol which allows other mods to also add their configuration. We see this a lot and I used to not add this too. Now I add it to all attachments. There is not much I can do about it. Whatever mod that is would need to change their code.

It's likely a conflict with another mod. I think I remember seeing this reported. Let me go and look and see what I can do to resolve it.

Yes the trade off between speed, traction, and control are always challenging with the absurd vehicle game physics. I have never seen a game with such bad driving physics. This game engine and the absurd physics were not built for GTA or Forza like driving. That being said if you have a vehicle you drive and like it that has speed, traction, and steering let me know what that vehicle is and I can test it out and see if I can make the Baja more magical for you!

It's my favorite car in Dayz but the handling is perhaps the worst of all the cars in Dayz. It doesn't steer. If the handling needs to be improved it would be the best car in Dayz for me.

Is the mod actually broken? Everything seems to be working for me. I had two reports of the mod being broken from the last update but no other reports.

Damn, I thought I could finally use the Baja but some of my other vehicle mods seem to break the slots. I can't attach wheels, doors, hoods, nothing :( (I use the towingtruck mod, carsforall, rags vehiclepack, mustang, corvette & Spurgles Chevy)

@TeamDev06 It's not any different than any vehicle for the Trader mod. You don't need anything special. It does have a lot of configuration for all the different variants and equipment. My suggestion is to start with just the base version and then add the others after you get it to work.

Quick question, Umm its not working with the trader , I have both this and the corvette mod , the corvette trader configs ARE working but the Baja bug isn't its not even coming up on the trader in-game , any recommendations? Trader mod is Trader By Dr J.ones

The battery should charge back up when driving but not if it’s dead and the vehicle won’t start. No way to use the Baja like a generator though. Not a bad idea!

Is there a way to use battery charger to charge battery while in baja or u need to standardly charge it via power generator?
