@saintbrutal: It's all weapons that can target the ground , generally the ground is not a valid target for firearms.

description says all weapons but when im trying to have my pawn fire at the ground with his m4a1, im holding left shift but its not working, i see the (/) sign when i have him drafted and i press b to manually aim target

Sadly doesn't work with Dragon Descent. I Pray for compatibility in the future

Just saw your Ludeon Forum post asking for such a mod and then having it written yourself 20 days later.

dwburke: The click to move a pawn is typically right click and shouldn't be involved here since firing is left click. Are you sure you were holding down the hotkey then left clicking?

This doesn't seem to work for me for any pawn (eg. armed with frag grenades) - whenever I press and hold left shift and target the ground, the pawn simply moves to that location. I have Harmony, Huslib, JecsTools and no other mods running; definitely not CE. Attempted to switch keybind to other key such as Tab, but no luck. Any ideas?

I am also interested in allowing more than just explosives, although primarily for something like the minigun. It is very annoying having them target the front guy, wasting spray, and also killing them super early in the volley... And even targeting further out, they just completely stop shooting if the target dies. Being able to mark a spot on the ground for them to spray would be nice to just keep a stream of bullets as intended, mostly hitting targets you didn't aim at haha. This is especially noticeable with like zombieland, where you can be shooting through a crowd of 100+ and kill the intended target in only a few shots.

Hmm... I don't suppose we could ask to get a mod options choice so we could change the Left Shift keybind to some other key?

I suggest rebinding this command to another key outside of left shift, as left shift acts as the queue commands key.

Does this work for psi? cuz oh my gosh I'm sick of trying to beserk pulse a group, only for a person to get targeted and lead it right into my melee line.
