If you want to enable climbing yourself you'll need to edit your Player.dir in Edith's director editor or spawn a dynamic spawn of a player.templ and check "Can Climb"

i didn't enable jumping or anything. I simply Fixed two small issues in the smaller scripts in the jumping script sections. Its the be used for modders and players playing modded maps. It's a lightweight mod so it shouldn't affect any other mods.

If you want to enableclimbing you'll have to either do it yourself, play a map/mod that has climbing enabled (Like my map #ShamelessPlug) or subscribe to the mod that enables climbing in the main game.

But since climbing needs special climbable ledges it wont do much in the main game.

Dumb question, but did you enable jumping/climbing for the player's spawn point? It's disabled by default, IIRC.

Hi! I created some small rooms in Edith and signed up for your mod. But my characters are not jumping or climbing. What could be the problem do you happen to know?

I already let the devs know. Since climbing isn't part of the main game its probably not a priority.

They did say that they'll include this fix in the next update if they remember lol. If not then its always here for people to grab if they want. <3

It’s a fix for the climbing to support custom maps. Both for creators and players.

It fixes two little issues in the climbing code.

One was an animation error and the other caused you to get stuck in the terrain when climbing into small spaces
