it conflicts with NPC weapons from mods, so if I give a weapon from ARCCW, it looks like a normal weapon from half life.

yeah but its extremely difficult to enable in gmod due to how fucking dated and spaghettified the code is from years of updates

After a couple of testing, my verdict is that the concept is great, but the execution is ok. At times it de-renders stuff that are still in my fov, and dead npcs starts to reappear and disappear randomly.

Seems to work pretty great and accurately. You can kind of notice the de-render in mirrors, but nothing too annoying. Will wait if a fix for freezing NPC's on kill is fixed.

For anyone who doesn't get it: this mod essentially unrenders stuff you aren't looking at (like old games like doom) ONTOP of unrendering when you leave a room (like most modern games) because Gmod usually has extremely small maps, and doesn't unload much stuff, which can cause FPS problems for most people.

TL;DR: this helps with FPS for people with bad computers
