Silica Gel = 2 Powdered Tanzanite + 1 Carrot + 1 Corn - Use a Mortar and Pestle and you get two silica gel.

Just mine ore nodes and eventually you will get some pretty purple gems called tanzanite. From there the recipes will appear.

While a makeshift knife made from a saw, cloth, and wood might be a nice addition, two maple planks and a saw yielded the red blade. I was playing on a revised version of Russia that has a few of its own recipies, so that could be an issue as well.

the blades do not have a recipe list. Only salvage + repair. I may have added a wrong id for a different one ill look into all the recent events
