i'm not getting melee actions for some reason? like the intercept works but I get no slash or kick or anything only intercept and power up

For those who read this in future - still not sure why fleche shows up on this class but it shouldn't be there, so it is expected that it doesn't work.

idk whats wrong with either the base mod or LWOTC version, but fleche is not adding bonus damage like normal classes do. Seems others already said this. Making the class significantly weaker than expected.

Class seemed fun at first, but when you want to get upgrades for them in the Guerrilla Tactics School, you need nearly 20.000 scientists to get those upgrades for them, so what would be the point of them then?

Third campaign without this class showing up at all. Granted, heavily modded campaigns with additional classes but are they really THIS rare lol? Maybe a method to make them appear a little more regularly as mission rewards. I get the thinking in making them difficult to acquire, they're a damn powerful class, but I'd Iike to see one or two in a hundred hours of gameplay lol. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

I can't make normal attack and I can't kick either. Is this how this class supposed to work?

Using the TTC (teleportation) console command, I found that it attacks an enemy within a 1-cell radius if the skill is inactive anymore.

My character, the stormrider, can't walk, but all other skills work.

I have question ... for me it personally is impossible ( okay possible but almost never happens) to get this class. Which I like (had it once , only once ...). I got xcomdataclass.ini with my heavily moded lwotc ... and there is no stormrider listed at all there . So where to make it happen in my lwotc campaign? I don't think it was supposed to be THAT rare aka never ever occur on random promotion. Also noone uses psionic overhaul 3 with lame psi underlays and no psi amps (btw absolutelly terrible idea) - new LWOTC 1.2 reflects that so maybe its time to actually make this class trainable from GTS since you won't make it PSI operator anymore. Logically speaking only reason this the case was because of psi overhaul.

It is not possible to equip blade upgrades with my stormrider on the primary weapon slot. Only on the secondary weapon slot. Does that mean that stormriders are stuck forever with the initial 3-5 dmg blade?

for some reason the "Fleche" doesnt work properly and never deals more damage then the normal melee attack. is there a way to fix it? (either through an update or telling me what to change in the ini files) if not dont worry the class works either way XD

Do you think the only single Will stat gain of 5 points when advancing from Squaddie (as opposed to two gains of 4 points each for some other classes) is intentional? It's a bit rought if one starts with a minimal Will rookie. Mandatory Will PCS for the rest of the service, basically.

It is not a bug, it is a method to make those gts perks unobtainable. From the mod description: "In usual LWOTC fashion, class-specific GTS Tactics are disabled here. The abilities from them can now be acquired in the XCOM row decks."

In the gts tactics screen it says i need 19,998 scientists to aquire it and I'm wondering if that's a bug or not

I've stumbled on to a little issue with Blitz Kick, it says i have no action points for some reason

Sure, you can install LWotC Shadow Ops, but you will still need WotC Shadow Ops as well.

@4rrakis but i can install the lwotc version of shadow ops? cuz lwotc shadow ops versions rebalance most of the skills for the orig shadow ops version..

You need the non-LWotC mod as a perk pack, but don't subscribe to the LW2 mods. You can ignore those, since LWotC already has those weapons and perks included.

should i use the lwotc shadow ops ? or teh shadow ops perks pack that is recommended in this mod. cuz the shadow ops needs lw2 mods and lwotc won't work with lw2 nods

Trying to narrow down a mod conflict once i installed Mec Troopers for LW, everything within this class disappeared like the skill tree and the like. Even the icon is missing, made the mistake of subscribing to all so I can't really narrow down what it could be. Don't really want to play without this mod :(

@Aruno Yes. I use "Choose my Class" in tandem with "[WOTC] Disable Any Class GTS Redux". This lets me choose any class I want (with the due settings), or fine tune the the possibility of appearing any class I want in the list of choices.

does "Choose my Class" mod help in finding this class or am I shooting myself in the foot by having it?

Sure there is. Go to this mod's config folder (steam/steamapps/workshop/content/268500/2349299686/config), open XComClassData.ini and change the number in this line from 0 to 1:
+NumInForcedDeck = 0
Now the class should be trainable in gts.

They are not trainable by design. You get them as mission rewards or random promotions.

how do you get a stormrider? ive never had one and i cant train them in psi lab or guerilla school

Maybe there is a way in the config files, I am not at my pc so I can't check. But even if it is possible it will just cost you supplies for nothing, since those perks upgrade the original Stormrider class which this mod disables and replaces with a new version. Besides, according to the description a LWotC Stormrider can roll those perks in their XCOM row.

Those requirements are a way to disable those upgrades, just ignore them.

hey, hey. Found a bug, where Bloodlust ability in x-com row cause whole game to crush, when it's activated and I try to attack someone with dual blades.

Figured that out, i had two dual wield mods running. disabled one and it fixed it. I am not seeing the option to empty the secondary weapon slot though.

My stormrider is equipping a gun in the primary slot. I can't equip a melee weapon in the primary ( i can secondary though). Anytime i do a melee attack it runs up to an enemy and fires the gun point blank which is pretty funny. Gun is being treated as a melee weapon in regards to all the perks. Not sure what to do.

I can upgrade the swords on any other class that can equip the swords eg the assault infantry class which uses the sword as a secondary.

It's only for the stormrider class which has the sword as a primary weapon, that I get a grayed out "upgrade equipment" button and a message that states "current primary weapon can't be upgraded".

This ofc prevents me from using attachment on the other equipment the class can use eg armor or psi amps etc.

@kill_the_hippy Upgrade slots for weapons is one of the things that can be configured in LWOTC via the XComLW_Overhaul.ini file.

Is there a way to enable upgrades for the main weapon or did I mess something up with my mod list?

You have to edit the file XComClassData.ini from this mod (folder 268500/2349299686). Set NumInForcedDeck to 1 and NumInDeck to 4.
