It's still being worked on. The main artist is very busy.
It's in progress. Recently found out a way to do it. Working on art assets for all the WH3 races.
Hahaha yes, it is a very well deserved riot! Hope they learn something from it.
Well bad news man... I just tried to port over those WH2 skins to WH3, using the same file directory... and no go. Didn't work. Come to find out, CA has deleted the folder that had the UI specific skins for the WH1 races, so I don't even know where to go from here. It is highly doubtful this mod will be ported, would also maybe explain why similar mods from WH2 haven't made it over.
Oh wow that is a beautiful mod. Yes in general doing the borders in particular is somewhat more difficult.
The author was able to cover a lot of background, but ironically he didn't created art for the army panels just like you did here. Seems like this specific kind of art is more complicated to mod in Warhammer "3"
Possibly. I would like to do the WH3 races and then have it released all in one big pack.
@Red Eclipse Late response, but I do remember these UI mods usually "overwrites" one another depending on how you load things in Warhammer "2". Let's say you fight a custom battle with the Dark Elf, then you load a Skaven campaign, some elements of the Dark Elf UI will load over the Skaven. You have to close the game, then restart, the UI will load correctly
If you're subscribed to any other UI mods that do similar things, of which there are a few, that may be an issue as we likely use the same file naming system. I just loaded a custom game and a campaign battle using Skaven and was also unable to replicate your issue. It must be a mod conflict or maybe some corruption of your game files.

What kind of mods would create a conflict with this one? I do have a few. I can check to see which is messing with it.
Sorry to hear that. I can't replicate your problem. Sounds like a mod conflict.
Sorry to hear that. Works fine for me. Keep in mind that an Out of Date warning doesn't necessarily prevent the actual mod from functioning.

Unlikely, as the mod works fine. Same for many of my mods. I will give them all one final update when the final patch for this game is released.

Old world factions already have flavorful UI, courtesy of the developers own efforts in Warhammer 1.

Nope the mod is working, the players faction determines the display of the enemy faction, when loading. Even without this mod on, the Dwarfs will still load with both sides showing Dwarf background. As would all other WH1 races.
It would be cool for both sides to show their unique UI when loading but I think this sort of thing is hard coded into the game & not changeable.
