why do the death sounds have so much reverb? Would be an otherwise perfect mod. Idk if I can justify the install.

Probably one of my favorite HECU voice replacements right now. Its like a nice fusion of Half-Life, Half-Life 2, and Black Mesa soldier voices.
Even the grunts with no mask utilizes a voice filter, even if it doesn't make sense, which makes it very reminiscent of the original game, which I like.

if this mod isn't quite your cup of tea, there's also Starscre4M's HECU Radio Filter.

I'd prefer a deeper voice but my biggest complain about Black mesa was the lack of filter for the HECUS so thx a lot :D

cant help but feel like the death sounds are really cartoon-ishly exaggerated, like they almost feel like some sort of weird meme with the volume and reverb they have.
