Oh my god hahaha I am sorry I've spooked you for years like that, but that story made my morning.

One story to another, I can no longer play other HL2 maps with water because I am always worried they have leeches in them, you know those that exist in the HL2 campaign when you swim too far out - because the map maker can put them in any body of water and you'd have no way of knowing if the water's safe until you actually touch it and see if you get swarmed immediately. Terrifying shit.

If anything, nowadays it's impossible to hide screamers in a map or game without people finding out and warning others of it.

hey I thought you'd like to know when I was 10 years old and originally downloaded this map I was so scared that there was a screamer that in my little baby brain I figured you'd hide it in the out of bounds section of the map, so I would carefully maneuver around the map within bounds because I was so scared of a screamer. Since then I have been absolutely terrified of out of bounds areas in video games because I was scared of what the developer could hide in them. I had nightmares about this shit for years.

This isn't meant to be a diss on you or anything, I just think it's kind of funny, I still do sort of have the fear to this day to an extent but not as bad as it was when I was little lol.

When loading a map the camera starts at the absolute centre of the map. I have an somewhat nasty habit of making said centre appear below the house.

I have a question...why do my starter cameras spawn under the map? :c it's the same thing for the lighted version too
