The faith plate killed us so we used alternate means.

Good map with puzzles!
@FIN I Marius Siuram I think he setup the faith plate as a trap to kill the player in which the true objective would be to figure it out the intended way!

In the first chamber, the "thing that sends you flying very quickly" seems unnecessary. At least, we did it without using it. It is a bug or a feature?

Otherwise, good first map, now doing the rest and providing thumbs up :)
