when I switch to the sword using scrollwheel, I take damage, intentional?

It seems the mod has broken, I'm getting the wand still but the spells no longer work and it doesn't deal damage even if the target shows hurt frames and start bleeding everywhere.

I wish it could also deflect projectiles...

Is it me or did this mod break? I've had it installed since launch but recently it stopped working for some reason. I don't have it as a starting wand anymore.

I went off to see the wizard. And I came back with a Katana. Thank you Mr Wizard. You are wonderfull.

I love the idea of having to swing it around to do damage, not to fond of the spells being built in. would love a version with no always casts

thank you my friend, i do like the spritework on this new one, i just personally prefer the "idea" of the noita swinging the sword so fast that it doesn't even look like it left the sheath, like in those old samurai movies.

also i think this is a bug but when you use beserkium (no extra spells on the sword) red particles fry everywhere to where its hard to see and i also cant seem to see the swipes of the sword while under the effects

dont use a chainsaw on this sword, best mistake of my life

just started using this mod, funny shotgun man fired at me and i found out you can cut bullets???

I really like this mod, but it stops the Kantele and Huilu notes from working (Tested with and without it on, with it on none of the songs work).

While I love this and the Tachi sword mod, I do have one criticism about it. Its the hitbox of the attacks. Its often annoying when the sword slash hitbox ends up affecting stuff all around me rather than just in front of me. Ended up killing myself more than once thanks to hitting a polymorphine potion or an acid potion that was behind me while fighting.

Can you make it deflect projectiles?

@The Wizard, now it works again, I think it conflicted with an other mod (I disabled a couple of other mods and then it worked again). Now that I've tried it: good job, it's really fun having a melee weapon at your disposal :)

@FallingSnow64, yeah it's the only way I could get it to look ok. I may center the swipe animation in the future, but the attack effect should be centered on the tip of the "wand".
@Nebelchef, Not sure what's going on there. I haven't seen that issue. The sword should have an always-cast for "weak sword strike".

using the katana or the tachi facing left moves the swing-particles down a bit, does this effect the actual hitbox?

The animation for the swing could be a bit better to help you show where you're actually hitting. Cool shit tho

I like the concept but I think the strike animation is too low. Maybe more in front of the character rather than below him?

@Niro, I'm not sure why it's interfering. This mod is simply new items and a spell. It doesn't affect player movement at all. Maybe change the load order. I'll experiment

For some reason if I activate your mod my movement speed is decreased. Is this intentional? I use "Run Faster" mod, but with your mod my movement speed is normal again.

Really neat concept executed very nicely, fun weapon to get some cool synergistic effects going with.
