Is this something wrong with the game that I'm just going to have to dig further on, or is this something that you may have some idea on how to resolve?
Still I love this mod. Fell in love with my "from the shadows, run" char, and it is just plain fun to run DMS and DF with him... although he starts severly overpowered.
I started an unmooded Dragonfall before starting Deadman's Switch purely because it was on the top of the campaign list. Then halfway thru the campaign I figured I couldnt connect to matrix and havent been thought how it worked.
I installed restartable DMS mod and imported my half way thru dragofnall char. Then I instaleld this mod and imported my character to Dragonfall game. After getting out of the starting mission my quests and conversations was bugged. Conversations with mission NPC's are aleady to the level I advanced. Quest objectives shown already complete whatnot.
I have seen in Description I have checked bugs and you have listed it as a bug.
Is there any work around?
Played through Dragonfall using a Dead Mans Switch character and I realized that if your imported character wears an armored trenchcoat from Dead Mans Switch, buying the same trenchcoat in late game (same armor value but +1 Body I think) and equiping it will cause your character to just freeze in place. Your cursors will move, you can open your character sheet and all but your character sprite is frozen in place. I have tried buying first and equiping in the safehouse but the same thing happens.
As always, thanks for taking the time to mod :)
Whirlywhoopa Thanks for this mod.
I was using a DMS character re-created and imported from Runner Gen, and the game does not recognize my character as a decker. Quite frustrating
There's the link to the "Runner Gen" tool. Just launch it like you would a regular campaign. Use the vendors provided to get the equipment your character had at the end of Dragonfall, and use the Karma Vending Machine to re-create your skill-set. When you're done, use the center terminal to save the character. Then, launch Dragonfall, and import from the "Runner Gen" save-game you created. Remember to create a NEW character with the Runner Gen. Don't import your actual Dragonfall character, the Runner Gen does NOT get rid of the quest flags.
Still, thank you for making this. Felt like my character can continue on from Seattle to Berlin.
or the game's devs changed the way that imports work... strange... since they didn't include the option to import a character from say... Dead Man's Switch... seems odd to have plot flags carry over at all.
