Decoration is not useless. If it were, it would not be a multi-million* dollar business. The developers offered (with a few exceptions) pretty much worthless junk as is (as far as the deco for the lcd goes). If it were not for modders, and ship designers and builders like you, this game would have died years ago and likely never would have made it out of Alpha. *(Probably billions but did not want to exaggerate.) Thanks for your dedication and hard work.

@HolyMolySniper, in terms of function, yes, it is useless. but that's only what the developers are giving us. if it doens't suit your fancy to add life to your ships, sure, no problem. but there are people (for example like me) who wants to add more life to a ship, to make it more immersive, so myself and others can enjoy it.
