In the cases where I had a deleted-from-Workshop mod, the removed mod appeared in the list of mods (in the Show Options dialog) highlighted with a red triangle. There it could always be deactivated. If you encounter a situation where that is not the case, please get in touch with the support at Urban Games and provide screenshots of the mod list etc: https://www.transportfever2.com/about/contact/

you can't deactivate a mod that's been deleted. I've lost a large number of saved games because of the "dirt road" mod.
Steam have removed it, as it appears to be an illegal file. (pirated/copied?)

I can't deactivate it anymore, it's been deleted by Steam.

You need to manually deactivate the missing mod in the options of the savegame.
Then activate this fallbackmod.

You may need to manually scroll through the list, the missing mod should be highlighted with a red triangle.

How can you load a savegame with this addon? I'm still having the warning that the original mod is missing and can't load any savegame (had to redo every savegame...)
The missing addon was automatically removed for me when the author removed it from the workshop.

Leider bekomme ich immer noch die gleiche Fehlermeldung : (

Thanks very much, I am able to load my saved game again. I have one remaining problem : I cannot remove most of these roads (red message : "Construction impossible")

It seems there was a newer version that contained additional roads. If someone encounters a crash, please report the missing config files here.
