life saver

I did a test and can confirm that this works! No manual install required. It's subtle and didn't require snd_restart when I loaded the game from a new chapter. I did not test if snd_restart was required if loading a save made before subscribing.

Nope all I use besides this is the UI Fixes and Improvements mod.

@Labargoth do you use any custom veiwmodels? Because some viewmodels use their own sounds that making this mod have no effect.

Yeah I tried the console command. I was wondering if it's simply because this mod is from so long ago.

Did you type "snd_restart" in the console? I may have to update the mod, not sure if this is pre 1.0 or not

This doesn't seem to work for me sadly. Guns still are very loud compared to voices.

god tysm the audio mixing in the game is hellish

Just kindly ask your gun to be quiet, it should work.
