I know this map is REALLY old, but is there any way to fix the water? Its all just missing textures

The original map was a minecraft map named "Skywars". Since I ported it to Garry's Mod, gm_skywars became the name.

can u make a materlials and recourses addon for this map becaws the pumpkin's dont have faces and the water is still purple and black (for pumpkin's too) plz make that if u do thx!

The water is an error. See if there's a way to fix!

ok the pumpkins have something wrong with them
the pumpkin`s face`s are checkerboarded when i loaded up the map

Alright! Since hammer is all fixed, and I've updated gm_fortcrafted and made a ttt_fortcrafted, it's time to expand on this map and make it what I wanted it to be! :D Expect a huge revamp of it as I've learned a lot more since then ;)

Thanks for the suggestions! Once I Fix my hammer editor, as it's compiling every map with no lighting at all for some reason, makes everything mat_fullbright or soemthing,I'll totally implement some of these ideas!

I would recomend making the lighting less "sharp", make the sun spread angle variable higher (to make the light more diffused). The shadows are way to dark. The light color looks good though.

The textures are a little blurry, if possible, try to use a different texture pack.

The skybox is okay, but it would look more like minecraft if you used this texture

Loads fine for me in Singleplayer, I'll be fixing the water texture error that might appear, I haven't updated it yet on the workshop

Is it simply just loading garry's mod and hosting it as a singleplayer map? I would imagine it would.

Zero Pain does this map work in single player sandbox? i want to know becasue i have over 200 add ons and the load takes forever and i dont want to add a add-on and not be able to play it single player and have to wait 20 more mins while shuttin it down

Most Skywars maps you see, there is no ground.

Although that might seem realistic-ish, being Skywars-esque you're supposed to be waaaay up in the sky where you can't even see the ground anyway. In the next version I'm going to be adding clouds, which will make a bit more sense. I know that the lack of hiding any bodies/guns/props that hit the floor make it see a bit less realistic.

Yeah. That is the point. And you should just be careful when playing it, I guess.

So I'm noticing that people like the map 'n all - but people HATE playing maps where they die all the time by falling off. That's kinda the point with Skywars though...

@Nova[GER] - This song is from the game Zombie. !! Great game and awesome soundtrack :D

@oreowild1 - The blocks are made to the proper size, however you do have to jump+crouch to lift up your feet mid air to land on the higher blocks. I'm currently adding some things that will let you walk up each block a little easier just like in ttt_minecraft_b5. Thanks for playing the map though :)
