Quicker and not confusing in the slightest just to google the commands, but people are using this either way so it doesn't matter.

@Hadrian That would work but most people would rather get all the perks and the high skill level instantly than have to bother about console commands, which can be confusing for some, and would rather read a book (according to my research before I made these mods and the number of users of these mods).

Incorrect, you can advance your destruction skill to 100 and then get the points that are used to get perks. And getting the individual perks through console commands take a short amount of time.

@Hadrian You can't easily get this with console commands. You will have to find and type in the perk ID of each perk to add them to your character. All you have to do with this mod is read a book.

Why? You could EASILY get this through commands in miniutes. Why would I download a mod to get it in the same time if not longer?

@Frezil Your character shouldn't level from any destruction spells up as your skill will be set to level 100, which is the maximum. If you want to level up your character check the FAQ for how to do so.

will i still lvl up if im using destruction spells at lower lvl? or since they wont lvl up niether will i?

@rbull I'm working on Perkless Skyrim - one book for all skills. It'll have a menu system so you can choose which skills you want along with a custom dungeon, sword, dragon priest mask, boss, etc.

I really need to ask a favor from you, is there there an alternate way to find the books other than running all around River?
Maybe they could be put in an unowned wine barrel on one side of town or the other. Or something like this. Sometimes I don't require all the books to help my character because they level different perks better than others depending the tree I choose.
I always miss 1 or 2 books every time I try and find them.

@|WZ| PhobiA Have you tried what's suggested in the 'It's not working. What can I do?' section of the FAQ? It explains the common cause.

@Commander KingBaggage I think it can't add the perks but it sets the skill level to 100. It's been a while since I checked it.

@jaredjarnhus If the book isn't there then try what I suggested in the FAQ (link in description) as it's possible the mod was not downloaded correctly. I don't really want to make it player-only as that often glitches. If what I suggested in the FAQ doesn't work then add the book manually to your player in the console or let the area reset by waiting a while.

the book wasnt where it said it would be. I can't actually find it at all. There was a dragon attack in riverwood so it may have been sent flying in the battle (for the record i killed it) Anyways i'll try again but is there a way to make it only removable by the player?

@hippiedippie Most weapons should change to legendary immediately. It's possible that has also glitched like the other ones if it has not done so. Happy to help :)

Thanks for all your help......I am now 'legendary'! Yay! I have one more question and then I promise I will leave you alone.....when I use the destruction weapons, should I be 'novice' untill I use them enough or should that also go up?

@hippiedippie Make sure the mod is loading after the update. It seems like it has still glitched so try reading the book again then loading a few more cells.

Thanks for responding, SERV3. I had to do what you suggested to get the mod to work at all. On the second try, all the perks kicked in but it still said 'novice'. Is there a particular location in the load order that I should put the mod?

@hippiedippie Seems like the game has glitched. Sometimes it takes a while for the game to register the sudden increase in skill so try saving, reloading and loading a few cells then try again. :)

Thanks so much for these 'perkless' mods. I am new at modding and I am a little confused. I installed your perkless destruction mod and it works great except I am still showing as 'novice'. Is that how it should be? Since I have all the perks, shouldn't I show as 'master'?

Your mods are the bomb !! I believe this was the issue the last time as well. lol My memory isn't what it used to be.

@mikendi It's probably a problem with how the game loads mods as the other ones work fine. Have you tried what I suggested in the FAQ?

Down loaded 4 and they worked great, tried to down load 3 others on a new toon but they will not load >? The others are still there, but destruction, conjuration, and sneak will not load.
