Definitely works well with side-view battles, or with perspective-view battles (any that has the party on screen as well as the enemies), but for the default front-view battles, it would look rather odd, or like how it would in RPG Maker 1/3 for the PSX.

Only ones that use enterbrains materials all others should be used non-commercial unless you contact the artist of the tile sets :)
but ya most of them are free and contacted alot of these artists about 2 to 3 years ago when originally creating the content.

are these available for commercial use?

I actually want some of those tiles.
