Bought a nice home in World's End, start climbing the tech/research tree, then I stumble over this and first was like "WTF? This is sweet! But where the heck did that come from?" . Had completely forgotten I installed this gem! Thanks so much for this Cattrina!
CTD on build menu maybe due to missing meshes/textures. Check the mod's sub-folders, if there's actually any files in them. Sometimes the workshop download gets buggered, so you get only the .mod file and the folders, but no content. Un-subbing/re-subbing to the mod and making sure all asset files got downloaded correctly should fix that.
This Mod never had any problems for me, But now everytime i click on it ( in The Building Menu) it crashes everytime idk why ;( pls help
Great mod regardless. I might use it even in its current state just because the only real difference between this and 20 small wind generators is space and aesthetic by the time you need this much power.
And thank you for the offer of knowledge. I may come back to you in the future.
Maybe an advanced version could ignore the water requirement since there are highly refined materials that can be used to generate electricity more directly from geothermal sources. Maybe requiring copper alloys and spring steel as well as iron plates and electrical components.
Just an idea. Wish I had the time and energy to learn to mod so I could stop kibbitzing and put my money where my mouth is.
Seemed like a lot, but... eh, dunno, I suppose it's not THAT much higher than other late-game items :)
So if it's set to 200, it takes 2 iron plates to make... yes? I'm okay with 10 electrical and steel bars since those mean you can't just spam a dozen easily, but just wanted to clarify on the iron plates.
