Nothing lore unfriendly about it in my opinion. Black Orcs have pretty consistently been described as having skin that's a very dark shade of green or even black and that's their namesake. Games Workshop's own paint team have painted their armor in a large variety of colours.

It makes sense, considering it's them that are black and not necessarily their armour
