HOW TO SOLVE STRENGTH+FITNESS:
The problem is that the mod checks the name of the perk, but it changes with different languages so it cant block "Strength" because there is no "Strength" in german for example there is "Stärke".
To fix it you have to modify a word in the lua file of the mod.
Go into your file explorer and navigate to the steam workshop folder of the Steam libary where you installed the game (google and chatgpt can help with finding it).
It should look somewhat like mine: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2313633950\mods\ShowSkillXpGain\media\lua\client\ShowSkillXpGain.lua"
then with windows editor or any other file editor open the ShowSkillXpGain.lua file.
in line 23 or somewhere near there should be a line that reads:
if isValid(perkName) then
change this line to:
if isValid(skill:getId()) then

The description say that strenght is hidden by default, but i see it anyway, even if i have the check on "Hide Strenght" in the options.
Fitness has the same problem....

Yea I agree with the comments, if the bugs and issues would be fixed it'd be a nice mod but currently it's just not very usable.

unfortunately it has problems apart from not showing multiple skills, while its activated you cannot use the radios either, you need to do something about it

This does not work - don't see options in menus for it - only to turn it on in MOD menu - then nothing shows up anywhere after that

Options for this mod doesn't work, you simply can not hide any exp gains you don't want to see.

I suggest making the colour of +xp gains different to +level gains, as sometimes you hear the level up sound and its unclear what was levelled up if you're doing a lot of other things.

Nvm i found it its not the server options its when u go into your game options by pressing esc... xD sry

why doesnt it show my strenght and fitness gains? And if theres mod options they dont show up for me for some reason...

Love this mod! But is there a way to hide the "Sneak", "Lightfoot" and "Nimble" XP gains? Since they somehow easily indicate when there are zombies nearby outside my vision when I rather not know.

Same issue as "My Cleo is so bad" - strength and fitness turned off in options but still showing / spamming. PZ v41.78.16

I am having the same issue that Quineloe is having. Level 6 carpentry, have read T4 skill book for 12x multiplier. Disassembled a large bed, base xp is 10, skill gain mod is showing 30, skill menu shows a difference of 120. Seems like everything is either 15,30, or 45 xp gain.

On v41.78.16 with only the Show Skill XP Gain mod, Show Skill Up Name mod, and the cheat mod (for ease of testing)

@Kaedius I found a nice way to debounce the show XP gain when multiple mods are adding xp at the same time (eg: rewarding night combat) i'd like to share the code with you, can you add me as a friend?

I'm noticing that on some higher number gains, the numbers are way off. For example when I (handy, level 7-8 carpenter, book read) build a wall, I get like 120 exp, but your mod only says I get +65.

Very useful mode but hide Strength and Hide Fitness mode options don't work in 41.73.

This is not my experience at all. It must be interference from another mod. I get precisely the exp I have displayed.

It doesn't take into account bonus multipliers. For example, I was park ranger with the +1 carpentry bonus and read the carpentry skillbooks. When I dismantle a large bed the mod says I get around 150xp, but when I check my skills tab I was getting ~400xp. Is there a way to fix this?

For some reason validation of perks doesn't work with other languages besides english. I've tried to fix it myself so strength and fitness wouldn't show up but didn't succeed.

Checkbox for "show Fitness and Strength" don't work for me. It still show anyway

@Jadem Yep, used it on Local Host and Dedicated Multiplayer servers and had no issues.

Any ideas if it works on mp with 41.68?

This is one of the very few mods i play with because seeing the XP gain is very satisfying. It is also indirectly a damage meter because the more weapon skill you gain the more damage you did

I hope they add the thing they did for foraging to all the skills. It seems weird to be limited to just one

Single player only guy, this works perfectly fine. Great mod I like pairing it with the runescape like xp drop mod.

This Mod is awesome! And works for me like charm. It's a great help especially for beginners to figure out which actions give you experience and when, etc. Fantastic job and the in-game options to show/hide during gameplay are great too. Not sure what does not work for others. But I say this mod is flawless! (and reveals nicely flaws of the game, haha :D )

MP shows other peoples xp gain.

Simply doesn't work. I wanted it to aid me during carpentry and disassembling things.

@kaedius if it helps at all the only way I could get it running on my dedicated server was by loading the mod onto the server itself. So for anyone playing MP you might try that
