A friend and I glitched the hell out of this, with boxes going through grates we getting to places in ways we weren't supposed to and balancing the cube to get it back.

@SpielSatzFail It's kinda 'hard' relative to the other nocturnal testing so that's the only reason we branded it "hard mode". I wouldn't consider the puzzles hard in this if you compare them to other hard puzzles (especially some of the later ones in this series: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=207740863) . Granted not a lot of people like maps that hard.

Surprisingly easy after having played Momentous Tests of Momentum :-P
...even this so called hard mode which we started without the previous version.

@NetherGranite It's been a while but I don't remember it taking very long (less than an hour). I made Bendy for another map which was much simpler but it took longer because the weirdness with transparent textures.

Nice map overall. we got stuck a few times for a minute or two - pretty nice balance of challenege and progress. For something that specifically calls itself out as hard i'd say it might have been a little short but possibly we learned enough in the normal version to speed it up. I'll give 8/10 (with an extra 1 point for the hidden room)

I found this video to be incredibly helpful Hammer Tutorial V2 Series #21 "Optimization" , if you're interested in video tutorials. I highly reccomend it, after watching it i feel like a pro at it; it even has sections so you can jump to parts if you need to.

Thanks for the comments. I was trying to learn some optimization techniques with this map. If you have any tips for me, let me know.

Btw,If you want to try some harder maps, give Nurket's list a look, he came up with most of the puzzles in these maps.. For even higher difficulty maps, check out camerson1313's maps. They have brilliant maps and not the "hard" type where you have to guess at random stuff either.

interesting map, lots of fun with angles,a few nitpicks (most of them are about optimization...or really the lack of it) but the puzzles were good. My friend hadn't fully solved it rescently (Ace Ryder) amd i watched a video but pretty much forgot all of it, untill we figured it out and then i remembered the peices of it. The music got a little grating after a while, it would have bin nice to have a change or 2 in it. It wasn't terribly hard, but I'd say it was enjoyable, I liked it. 8/10

Excellently done. You must think outside your normal box of puzzle solving. Actually reminded me of HL2 puzzles with rails and crouching and jump timings! A++ would puzzle again, all over the cube! :B1:

Yep, the room (from the picture). We easily go to the end, and some other things for the cube etc. (Blue portal on the ground)

Well, dunno if it's a bug, but are we allowed/supposed to climb ON the "roof" ? We end it with that, so... Dunno if it was intentional or not, but it wasn't really hard :P If it's not the true way to solve it, you need to fix that :D But great map!
